Azimio leader Raila Odinga will also be among the guests in attendance African Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit.
The summit is being held at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC). It starts on Tuesday and ends on Thursday (today).
The former prime minister joins more than half a dozen African heads of state and government attending the summit.
This comes as he is eyeing the chair of the African Union Commission.
Raila is believed to be using the international summit hosted by Kenya to seek support from visiting leaders.
Some of the leaders in attendance were:president Faustin Arcange Touadera (Central African Republic), Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera (Malawi); Hakainde Hichilema (Zambia); Emmerson Mnangagwa (Zimbabwe), With Nangolo Mbumba (Namibia) Gervais Ndirakobuka (Prime Minister of Burundi).
Others include vice presidents and ministers representing each country.
It will be the second time in less than two weeks that African leaders will meet in Nairobi.
The summit began on Tuesday and was officially opened by Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi.
Afterwards, a ministerial meeting was held attended by ministers from African countries.
The summit was held following a decision by the African Union General Assembly in February this year.
This is the second summit, following the first held in Abuja, Nigeria in 2006.
On April 29th, Laila was one of the leaders in attendance. International Development Association (IDA21) Summit held in Nairobi.
The summit brought together heads of state and government from at least 20 countries on the African continent.
