Yusen has confirmed that Parts Express is the largest provider of service parts logistics across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Parts Express specializes in shipping fragile aftermarket parts like windows and mufflers. The company operates his 450 vehicles and his 30,000 square meters of cross-dock space, split between five locations in the Netherlands and four locations in Belgium, and offers next-day delivery services. Parts Express has his OEM and tier supplier customers from Europe, Japan, Korea, and the United States.
Bruno Jacques, Managing Director of Yusen Logistics Benelux Germany, said the acquisition of Parts Express is a strategic milestone for the company and marks a new phase of expansion and innovation. “Integrating Parts Express into our network not only expands our reach, but also accelerates our growth trajectory and strengthens our ability to better serve our customers.”
“Partnering with Yusen Logistics opens a world of possibilities for our team and our customers,” said Parts Express General Manager Norbert Van Duren. “Together, we can now offer excellent value and service to our customers in the Benelux region and beyond. This is the start of an exhilarating journey, and we look forward to I’m excited to be on the front lines.”
This latest acquisition follows a number of other acquisitions that Yusan has made, in line with parent company NYK Group's stated focus on core logistics last March. International Logistics Group, a Yusen 3PL subsidiary specializing in order processing and delivery, acquired British carrier management company Global Freight Solutions in February this year. Last February, Yusen Logistics Americas acquired US logistics company Tailored Services Parent.
